There was too much brush along the banks and the trees formed a tight canopy making it impossible to cast here.  For these we used a tenkara style rod with 10 feet of line.  It worked great and we were able to float the bait past the waiting fish.  We stayed on a small farm near Silverwood Amusement Park in Athol, Idaho.
