DragonForce
DragonForce is a British power metal band that originated in London in 1999. They are well-known for their rapid twin-guitar shredding, anthemic choruses, and synthesizer hooks inspired by retro video games. The band describes their style as "extreme power metal".
I love this band, so fun to listen to. It pumps me up when I'm needing a boost. Wakes me up better than coffee. Great for long drives. I'm one of those folks that concentrates better when music is playing...this song is always in my playlists.
Their song, "Through the Fire and Flames" gained widespread, cross-generational recognition as the ultimate challenge on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Their music is defined by extremely fast tempos (often exceeding 200 BPM), extended dual-guitar sweep picking and whammy bar solos, double-bass drumming, and arcade-like sound effects.
