We spent the night in Solvang on our way to Santa Clara. For years we have gone to Olsen's Danish Bakery and seen Paula's Pancake House next door with a huge line. August 2025 we rented a boat to fish Crowley Lake. We didn't catch anything but it was still a beautiful day out on the water. The rock formations are amazing!

We caught 4 very small trout here, we returned them to the creek so they could grow up. There was too much brush along the banks and the trees formed a tight canopy making it impossible to cast here. For these we used a tenkara style rod with 10 feet of line. It worked great and we were able to float the bait past the waiting fish. We stayed on a small farm near Silverwood Amusement Park in Athol, Idaho. It was beautiful here, I would love to go back.

The game was held on Sunday, April 12th, 2026. It was an excellent day to watch the Dodgers. There was a light sprinkle of rain at the start, but it soon cleared up.
