Sage Creek in Idaho 2025

We caught 4 very small trout here, we returned them to the creek so they could grow up. There was too much brush along the banks and the trees formed a tight canopy making it impossible to cast here. For these we used a tenkara style rod with 10 feet of line. It worked great and we were able to float the bait past the waiting fish.

We stayed on a small farm near Silverwood Amusement Park in Athol, Idaho. It was beautiful here, I would love to go back.
