Earlier this year, I visited Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo with my wife and son. Initially, it was a zoo and marine park. Over time, they introduced rides, and most of the zoo and marine features were removed, although some still remain. Nowadays, the park is centered around thrill rides.

My son and I loved the Batman roller coaster. It is a distinctive 4D free spin steel roller coaster that flips riders head-over-heels through a sequence of weightless, tumbling drops. Each ride experience is unique because the seat rotation varies based on how passengers are seated and the weight distribution in the car. Each train can hold up to 8 riders. Due to the low rider capacity per hour and short ride duration, many of these coasters have been removed. Nonetheless, it's a unique and enjoyable ride. Make it your first ride of the day so the line isn't too long.

For a small park there are many good rides. It's definately worth the visit.
