Recently I went to Edna Vees for a birthday party. It is in the city of Covina. It was lively and the atmosphere was good…happy and positive. The band was still setting up. My wife and I shared the Blue Cheese Bacon Burger and fries. The patty was medium rare as ordered, the burger was juicy and tasty. Our cousin says the tater tots, wings, and Brussels sprouts are good.
We were in a back room where the band was still loud and clear, but it was a little quieter and we could talk without yelling. The servers and bartenders were all great. We were afraid that we would be forgotten in the back room, but several servers came by to check on us about every 5 minutes. We are a thirsty group, so the timing was good.
They are closed Monday and Tuesday. The hours of operation vary, so check ahead of time. They have regular events, which is cool. Wednesday, trivia @ 7-9pm. Every 1st Friday, themed trivia @ 7-9pm. Friday & Saturday, live music from 8-11pm. Sundays, DJ E-Bert from 11am-2pm. Sunday afternoon music from 4:30-7:30pm. There have a large selection of board games to play.
Edna Vees is great! If you are looking for something to do, stop by. My wife and I will definitely be back.
