Junna
JUNNA is a renowned Japanese heavy metal drummer celebrated for her rapid double-bass technique, technical accuracy, and popular YouTube performances. She is the official drummer for the melodic power metal band HAGANE and is endorsed by Pearl Drums and Sabian Cymbals.
JUNNA achieved significant international fame through her YouTube drum covers, especially her viral, high-energy versions of DragonForce’s "Through the Fire and Flames" and Judas Priest’s "Painkiller".
Don't let her cute and innocent appearance fool you. She's a master drummer at the top of her game. Her drumming style is heavily influenced by classic hard rock and heavy metal legends like Cozy Powell (Rainbow). Her drumming combines fast, articulate double-kick patterns, tight snare ghost notes, and effortless endurance.
She was in the band Trident Japan and she joined the all-female melodic power metal band HAGANE during their major reboot, driving their signature high-tempo rhythm section on releases like Top of the Tower and Metal Quest.
